I lost my youngest son when he was just 30 years old due to a horrendous drug addiction to meth and heroin. As a father, I had so many hopes and dreams for him; he had so many talents and abilities, and I wanted to see him thrive---to see him reach his potential---to see him happy and healthy.

But he chose a different path---a different lifestyle; one that I did not---and still don't---understand or condone. Trying to understand how I was feeling and how I was dealing with my son's death was---and still is---very difficult, but I sought help, and found it.
